Tuesday Sept 29, 2026 | Draft and Craft: Re-Crafted: Bottle Cap Creations
Re-Capped: Bottle Cap Art
When: Tuesday, September 29, 2026 | 6:00 PM–7:30 PM
Where: 550 Brewing Company | 119 E Chuska St, Aztec, NM 87410
You're Almost Registered!
We're excited to create with you! In Re-Capped: Bottle Cap Art, you'll turn painted bottle caps and reclaimed materials into a one-of-a-kind piece of dimensional art.
This open Art Bar is all about creative reuse, texture, color, and following whatever idea starts forming once the materials hit the table. We'll have examples, prepared bases, painted caps, markers, adhesives, and plenty of inspiration ready to go.
There is no single project everyone has to copy. Build an animal, flower, pattern, symbol, tiny scene, abstract design, or something nobody else saw coming.
Complete your registration below to reserve your seat.
Your Registration Includes
✔ Admission for one participant
✔ Prepared art base
✔ Painted and cleaned bottle caps
✔ Shared Art Bar materials and reclaimed pieces
✔ Markers, adhesives, and creative supplies
✔ Examples, inspiration, and help when you want it
✔ Your completed bottle cap artwork to take home
✔ A creative evening at 550 Brewing Company
What to Expect
Re-Capped is an open-ended Art Bar, which means you get more creative freedom than a traditional step-by-step workshop.
We'll begin with a quick introduction to the materials, adhesives, and a few ways to approach your design. Then the Art Bar opens and you decide what your pile of bottle caps becomes.
Create a recognizable image, play with geometric patterns and repetition, layer pieces for texture, add drawn details, or ignore the examples completely and make something gloriously weird.
No art experience is required. We'll be available throughout the workshop for help with layout, materials, adhesives, and getting an idea unstuck, but your finished piece is entirely your own.
All ages are welcome! Younger makers may need adult assistance with hot glue and some adhesives.
Workshop Arrival
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in, grab a drink if you'd like, and get settled before we begin.
We'll start at 6:00 PM with a short introduction before opening the Re-Capped Art Bar for creating.
Before You Attend
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for crafting. We'll be using markers, adhesives, paint-covered materials, and other common art supplies that may stain clothing.
Hot glue may be used during the workshop. Younger participants will need help from an accompanying adult or workshop instructor when using hot glue.
You do not need to bring bottle caps. We've already done the highly specialized professional work of hoarding tiny interesting objects for you.
A completed participation waiver is required for all attendees.

Come give the recycling bin some competition.
