About Rusted Rose Studios
Who We Are
Rusted Rose Studios is a creative studio built at the intersection of art, strategy, and technology.
It’s where thoughtful design meets real functionality—where websites aren’t just built to look good, but to work, connect, and grow alongside the businesses behind them.
Rooted in the Four Corners, this work is shaped by both community and curiosity—and a belief that good work should feel as good as it functions.
Our Mission
Rusted Rose Studios lives at the crossroads of human creativity and technology.
Some work is handcrafted. Some is AI-assisted. Many pieces are a thoughtful blend — and I’ll always tell you which is which. Transparency isn’t optional here. It’s part of the craft.
That same creative energy doesn’t stop at art.
I’m also a web developer and marketing strategist with over eight years of enterprise-level experience in web development and accessibility. I’ve built for large institutions — and now I bring that same rigor, strategy, and technical depth to small businesses in my community.
Whether I’m crafting a physical piece or building a digital presence, the goal is the same: create something thoughtful and intentional — something that helps good people share their story, connect with others, and grow with confidence.
I believe play is underrated, curiosity is essential, and “what if?” is where the good stuff hides.
Because when you follow curiosity, you don’t just make things. You discover them.
And sometimes, you discover a little treasure you didn’t know you were looking for.
What I Do
I help small businesses create websites that actually work—for them and for their customers. That means more than just design.
It means designing websites that are
Easier to find
Clear at a glance
Simple to navigate
Built to connect
Designed to feel like you
My Approach to Web Design
A good website isn’t just about how it looks—or how it’s built. It’s both.
You can have the most beautiful website in the world, but if it’s not optimized, people won’t find it.
You can have the most optimized site in the world, but if it’s flat, confusing, or overcrowded, people won’t connect with it.
The front end and the back end have to work together.
That’s where I live.
Accessibility
It means making sure your website works for everyone—including people using screen readers or assistive technologies.
It also improves things most people don’t even think about:
Search engine visibility
Readability and comprehension
Overall user experience
Sometimes it’s as simple as captions on a video. Sometimes it’s deeper than that.
Either way, it creates a better experience for all users—not just some.
Experience
Before starting Rusted Rose Studios, I spent nearly a decade working in enterprise-level web development.
Technical lead on a large-scale website redesign
Built and managed systems with thousands of pages and hundreds of contributors
Developed portals, digital systems, and user-facing platforms used across the community
Contributed to work that received multiple national and international awards
Specialized in accessibility (CPACC certified) and trained others in best practices
Now I bring that same level of strategy, structure, and technical depth to small businesses.
The Rusted Rose Approach
Rusted Rose Studios isn’t just about websites.
It’s about the blend of:
Art and code
Structure and creativity
Human work and AI-assisted tools
Everything I create—whether it’s a website, a photograph, or a piece in the shop—comes from the same place:
Curiosity, intention, and a little bit of magic.
