You'll learn to organize your website, navigate the Squarespace platform, build pages, and start developing a site that reflects your business.

Squarespace 101: Start Building Your Website

9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Learn how to:

• Define your website's purpose and audience

• Plan your pages and navigation

• Set up a Squarespace trial

• Create your site's basic structure

• Customize fonts, colors, and overall styles

• Outline your homepage

You'll leave with: A working site foundation, a homepage plan, and clear next steps for continuing your website.

Full Day — $120

Squarespace 101 + 102: Building Better Web Pages

9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Get everything included in the morning workshop, plus an afternoon session focused on turning your website foundation into a developed homepage.

You'll learn how to:

• Organize content so visitors can find what they need

• Use AI as an optional writing assistant to draft and refine homepage content

• Build your homepage using Squarespace sections and tools

• Create clear headings and calls to action

• Work with authentic images and accessibility basics

• Check mobile layouts and basic SEO settings

You'll leave with: Your Squarespace site foundation, a substantially developed homepage, and a repeatable process for building additional pages.

Lunch break: 12:00–1:00 PM. Lunch is not provided.

What to Expect

This is a hands-on, bring-your-own-laptop workshop. We'll walk through the process together with guided demonstrations and time to work on your own website.

No previous Squarespace experience is required.

This workshop is designed to help you make meaningful progress, not to finish and launch an entire website in one day.

What to Bring

• Laptop and charger — required

• Access to an email account

• Your logo and brand colors, if available

• Business photos, service descriptions, or product information, if available

• An idea of what you'd like your website to accomplish

You do not need an existing website or Squarespace account before class.

Participants are responsible for managing their own accounts, passwords, subscriptions, and any costs associated with third-party platforms or services. Please do not share passwords, payment information, or other sensitive account details during workshops.

Registration covers workshop instruction and any materials specifically listed in the workshop description. Third-party subscriptions, software purchases, and domain fees are not included unless explicitly stated.

Squarespace Workshop Requirements

Participants must bring their own laptop, charger, and access to an email account. A Squarespace trial can be created during the workshop.

The half-day session focuses on website planning, setup, navigation, and design foundations. Full-day participants also work on developing their homepage.

Squarespace subscriptions, domain purchases, and other third-party costs are not included. Participants will leave with different levels of progress depending on their preparation and experience. A completed or published website is not guaranteed.
