Pieced Together: Kinusaiga Fabric Art
When: Thursday, November 19, 2026 | 6:00–8:00 PM
Where: Feat of Clay Artists’ Co-op | 222 N Main Ave, Aztec, NM 87410
Turn reclaimed fabric into colorful, textured artwork without sewing. Choose your fabrics, build your design, and use the kinusaiga-inspired fabric-tucking technique to turn forgotten textiles into something completely new.
$35 | All materials included | Ages 13+; minors with parent/guardian
Important: This standard-format workshop uses X-Acto-style precision craft knives to cut grooves into foam. Pre-cut and assisted options can be requested if you prefer not to use a knife. The younger-child version is offered by arrangement for private groups, not as part of this public session.

✔ Materials and supplies for your project
✔ Shared Art Bar tools and supplies as needed
✔ Guided instruction and creative support
✔ Your completed project to take home
✔ A relaxed, hands-on creative experience
What to Expect
We'll begin with a quick introduction to the project, materials, and any techniques you'll need to get started.
From there, you'll have room to experiment, make creative choices, and take your project in your own direction. We'll be available throughout the workshop to demonstrate techniques, answer questions, troubleshoot, and help when you need it.
No previous art or crafting experience is required unless specifically noted in the event description. Our workshops are designed to be approachable, encouraging, and flexible enough that nobody at the table has to make exactly the same thing.
Please review the individual event listing for project details, age recommendations, and any workshop-specific information.
Workshop Arrival
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and get settled before the workshop begins.
Specific start times, locations, and venue information are listed on the individual event page.
Before You Attend
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for crafting. Workshops may involve paint, glue, markers, tools, or other art materials that can stain clothing or get a little messy.
Some workshops may include additional preparation, materials, or instructions. Any workshop-specific requirements will be included with the event information or provided after registration.
A completed participation waiver is required for all attendees.
