Do you have a beautiful jar, vase, or bottle tucked away because it felt too nice to throw away? Bring it! In this hands-on workshop, we'll transform forgotten glass into a one-of-a-kind illuminated lantern that reflects your creativity and gives everyday objects a beautiful new purpose.
Don't have the perfect piece? No worries! We'll have a collection of recycled jars, bottles, and vases waiting for a second life, so everyone will have something unique to create.
Using tissue paper, decorative accents, and your imagination, you'll design a lantern that's entirely your own. Whether your style is whimsical, rustic, spooky, elegant, or somewhere in between, you'll leave with a glowing piece of art that's as beautiful lit up as it is during the day.
No artistic experience is necessary. We'll provide all the supplies, guidance, and inspiration you need to bring your vision to life.
What You'll Create
You'll design and decorate your own illuminated glass lantern using recycled materials, colorful papers, and decorative embellishments. Finish your project with an LED tea light and take home a handcrafted lantern that's perfect for a shelf, patio, centerpiece, or cozy evening décor.
Every creation is unique because every piece of glass has its own story.
Bring Your Own Glass (Optional)
Have a favorite jar you've been saving "just in case?" This is its moment.
Feel free to bring your own clean glass container, such as:
