What if a table could stand without the support you expect?

Join Rusted Rose Studios at Arkins Juice Tavern for The Impossible Table, a hands-on S.T.E.A.M. workshop in Farmington, NM where kids and parents build a gravity-defying table using simple materials, creative design, and clever engineering. Through tension, balance, and a little problem-solving magic, participants will create a table that looks impossible at first glance but works beautifully once everything comes together.

As your table begins to take shape, you’ll explore the engineering principles that make it stand. Participants will experiment with tension, compression, balance, and structure while discovering how forces can work together to create stability in unexpected ways. It’s a fun and satisfying project that blends science, art, and hands-on building into one unforgettable creation.

This is a relaxed, hands-on experience where curiosity, creativity, and experimentation lead the way. Whether you love building, figuring out how things work, or making projects that surprise people, The Impossible Table is a chance to create something that feels a little magical and teaches real engineering concepts along the way.
